There iscurrently a category five hurricane passing over Mexico, namedHurricane Otis. According to our friends at WeerOnline.com , it ismoving roughly 200 kilometres north of the circuit and will hit thecircuit with rain in the build-up to the weekend. As a result, itwill wash away all the rubber on the track and leave it in alow-grip state when the drivers take to the circuit for Fridaypractice. The first free practice takes place at 19:30 BST, withthe weather throughout the day showing a mix of sun, clouds andpotential showers. While the temperatures will be lower thanprevious rounds, it will still not be cold with a maximum of 25degrees projected for the day. Qualifying day is set to be dry withlittle wind present at the track, while the temperature isprojected to rise to 26 degrees. Similar conditions will be presentduring the Grand Prix on Sunday and the drivers shouldn't expectrain to interrupt their strategies.
