Lando Norris says McLaren cannot afford any mistakes duringSaturday's running if they want a strong showing at the HungarianGrand Prix. Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri are coming into theBudapest weekend fresh off their best result of the season at theBritish Grand Prix, in which Norris finished second and Piastritook fourth - a welcome return to form for McLaren after adifficult start to the season. Norris finished Friday's only drypractice session in an encouraging second place, and noted thatwhile McLaren had had a positive day, there were still aspects ofthe Hungaroring that were not ideally suited to the MCL60. "Westill struggle in the slower speed corners," Norris told F1TV . "Ifyou look at Turns 4, 5, 11, there's still some corners where Ithink our car gives us that confidence to push and we can gain somelap time. "But when you look at Turn 1, Turn 12, we still strugglethere quite a bit compared to some cars, so we definitely have somemore weaknesses here. "But on the whole, no one looks like they'remiles ahead of everyone. I think it looks pretty close, which isgoing to make [Saturday] not very easy, but should be exciting atthe same time." No room for mistakes Norris added that the tightconfines of the Hungaroring meant that a good grid position wasparamount, meaning there would be no margin for error inQualifying. "I think we're in a good place," said Norris. "We'reconfident the car"s performing well, but if we make one mistake, ifa lap gets deleted, it can very easily go from looking good tolooking extremely bad on a track which is not easy to overtake on."[Saturday] is going to be all about not making mistakes, puttinglaps together, not getting caught out or getting [stuck in]traffic. "But I think we've got good enough pace to [put up] a goodfight and get into Q3 and go from there."
